My daughter bought this pre-owned hardcover book for her brother's 10th birthday and he loves history so this was a favorite present. Very educational and published by Scholastic book publishing company. I would recommend for school-age kids.

This is great for my class when they are looking for quick tidbits of information about the Civil War. Also good for me.

Our Grandson brought this book home for his Grandmother to read and she thought that it was great reading and he had to return the book back to school and wanted to get the book and thanks you guys.

I can recommend this book for a classroom or to use at home. The battle overviews are easy to digest & the pictures captivated the kids and me!

My 11 year old daughter is a Civil War buff. She says this book is "cool" because it shows actual battle photographs.
